Flying

The closest airports are Missoula (MSO) and Kalispell (FCA). Spokane and Great Falls may be options as well.

Transport

Transportation will be available by meeting organizers from the Missoula Airport to hotels and for all tours, including the Lolo Fire Tour, the Soil Health tour, and the Kalispell tour.  Please make shuttle requests and express possible other transport needs to Laura (laura-demmel@nacdnet.org or 406-539-4670).

Optional Tours

Monday, June 4: See the impacts of fire in a forest and ranch setting. The group will visit the Lolo Forest and hear from local experts as well as local conservation district members.

Wednesday, June  6: The day will be spent exploring the Flathead Valley and scenic Flathead Lake. Tour will include several scenic stops, potentially a tour of restoration projects, and a dairy operation.
